Jodie StevensAre you the person you want to be? As a child you believed.

Did you let fear, self-doubt, or the opinions of others crush your dreams?

“You can’t be an astronaut, you’re not smart enough,” “You can’t be a fireman, it’s too dangerous.”

By seeking love and approval, we let our wildest dreams slip away.

A group of people in their 70’s and 80’s were asked: “What is your biggest regret?” The majority said: “I wish I would have taken more risks.”

When being comfortable, safe and accepted takes precedence; the hunger gets buried deep inside us and resurfaces later in life disguised as an affair, a divorce, or a midlife crisis.

Have you let the world around you determine your destiny? Has it left you feeling disappointed and unfulfilled?

Romans 12:2 says: “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect His will really is.”

Let Gods plan become your ‘wildest dream.’ Who knows it better than one who created you?
