I have a feature on my radio program called “The Morning Miracle” where listeners call in and describe the miracles God’s done in their lives.

Anyone who doesn’t believe in miracles should tune in because the stories are pretty mind blowing.

I’ve heard of miraculous ‘hospital healings’ that stumped medical staff; near death experiences where people encountered Jesus and saw their room in heaven; and I could never forget about the family who survived after crashing their plane in the Idaho mountains.

The miracles I hear about every day happen because God still does miracles and because Jesus is alive.

In the bible Jesus walked on water, turned water into wine, healed a blind man, and raised a dead man back to life. But the ultimate miracle was when Jesus himself was raised from the dead.

These aren’t just wives tales, they’re historical events recorded in history, and in the Bible:

“He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted” (Job 5:9).

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).

“He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes” (Deuteronomy 10:21).

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).

“For I am the Lord, who heals you” (Exodus 15:26).

“When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze” (Isaiah 43:2).

  1.  Have you experienced a miracle in your life?
  1. Do you believe God can do miracles?
