Jodie Stevens “What makes you better than anyone else? What do you have that God hasn’t given you? And if all you have is from God, why boast as though you have accomplished something on your own?” (Corinthians 4:7)

It’s easy to rely on ourselves and our own intellect when life’s going good, but where does that leave us when times get tough?

Thanking God for our blessings can increase our overall well- being simply because gratitude makes us happier. And when we allow God to teach us valuable lessons through our trials it’s a double blessing in the long run because the world doesn’t gain the kind of knowledge and wisdom through their pain the way God’s children do.

In addition we are told in Psalm 24:1 that: “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. The world and all of it’s people belong to Him.”

When we thank God, our successes don’t go to our head and our failures don’t destroy us.

It’s all God’s anyway.
